  • Kinaway provides its Aboriginal business and enterprise members with support and advice on where to be linked into and introduced to potential clients and supporters of Aboriginal business.  This includes assistance with meeting government contract supplier contracts and procurement processes and working with many Aboriginal businesses to achieve their goals and aspirations.
  • Kinaway has secured contracts with corporate and private sector where Aboriginal businesses have been able to sell their products and services directly with the support of the Supply Nation in some but not all arrangements.
  • Developed the successful MURRA Aboriginal Business Master Class Series 2011 and 2012 (now a national Aboriginal business focused program) in partnership with the Asia Pacific Social Impact Leadership Centre at Melbourne Business School.  This initiative directly addresses the key Kinaway Policy and advocacy direction of investing in Aboriginal business growth.

  • Kinaway Regional Business Tour of Victoria – series of business discussion workshops with Aboriginal businesses in Victoria (15 workshops).
  • 15 Kinaway business luncheons focusing on key business themes that relate directly to Victorian Aboriginal businesses – ie. the Kinaway Business of Catering Luncheon with Carolyn Creswell’s Catering business, procurement, microfinance, tax, exports, product development, business planning, succession planning and more.
  • Gala events and workshops for Victorian Aboriginal Businesses (15).
  • Kinaway partnership events with NAB include: key note speakers from Kinaway to support NAB’s work to promote their Microenterprise loan, partnering on addressing financial exclusion, capacity building for members and Kinaway and strengthening the Chamber’s advocacy and policy agenda.
  • Kinaway worked with NAB’s Top 30 Business Bank Associates on issues of importance to their business, as part of the NAB’s Insights Leadership Program.
