How has the Partner engaged with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island businesssector? What actions have they taken to reconciliation? Any special programs, projects or collaborations? E.g. RAPs, employment, procurement

SAT Pty Ltd recognises the importance of meaningful engagement with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and is committed to supporting reconciliation through action.

While SAT is not currently a 50% Indigenous-owned business, we actively contribute to the Indigenous sector through the following initiatives:

Strategic Partnerships

· Collaboration with Indigenous-Owned Businesses: SAT regularly partners with First Nations-owned organisations such as FatComms to deliver technology, communications, and infrastructure solutions. These collaborations help strengthen capacity and increase Indigenous participation in major projects, including in the mining and government sectors.

 Employment & Engagement

· Commitment to Indigenous Employment: SAT prioritises engaging Indigenous subcontractors and labour where possible on regional and infrastructure projects. We are actively exploring pathways to formalise Indigenous employment targets within our operations.

· Cultural Awareness Training: Our leadership team and project managers have participated in cultural awareness training to ensure respectful and informed engagement with Traditional Custodians and Indigenous communities.

 Procurement Practices

· SAT has taken steps to include Indigenous suppliers in our procurement process and supplier base, ensuring we contribute to economic development and capacity building within Indigenous communities.

 Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP)

· SAT is in the early stages of planning a Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan to formalise our commitment. This plan will focus on building relationships, showing respect, and creating opportunities both within our business and through our partnerships.

 Community Support

· SAT will support local Indigenous events and community-driven initiatives, particularly in regional areas where we work on infrastructure and mining-related projects.
