Workshop Overview

Kinaway Chamber of Commerce is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from its members to facilitate business Management Leadership workshops to Aboriginal businesses in regional Victoria. Workshops to be held in Shepparton and Gippsland. These sessions aim to empower Aboriginal business owners and professionals to improve their communication skills and strengthen business relationships through targeted, practical training.

The selected facilitator(s) will deliver both workshops in one day: one session in the morning and one in the afternoon.

Workshop Dates

• August 4th, 5th

• Spetember 7th, 8th and another dated yet to be confirmed

Workshop Location & Times

• Gippsland and Shepparton

• Session Times TBC

Workshop Objectives

Workshops will be practical, culturally safe and cover the following focus area:

• Difference between management and leadership

• Importance of strategic planning

• Organisational development

• Continual improvement and innovation

• Utilisation of AI in small business

• Provision of resources/templates to participants

• Sharing of teaching materials post -workshop

Each session should be between 2 to 2.5 hours and highly participatory.

Eligibility Criteria

We invite Kinaway members with experience in:

• 3+ years in Business development, communication, or leadership coaching

• Facilitating workshops or group training

• Supporting Aboriginal entrepreneurs or small businesses
