Kinaway Chamber of Commerce is seeking Expressions of Interest from Victorian-based First Nations businesses to attend Supply Nation Connect 2026, Supply Nation’s annual flagship event.
Connect is the largest Indigenous business event of its kind in Australia, bringing together Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses, corporate organisations and government buyers to create genuine procurement opportunities, strengthen supply chains and celebrate the growth of the Indigenous business sector.
In 2026, Connect will be held in Perth, Western Australia. This year’s event will be held on 11th and 12th August 2026.
Being held over two days, Connect 2026 brings together Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses, corporate organisations and government departments to foster opportunities and celebrate the success of the Indigenous business sector.
The event will feature:
The Knowledge Forum – keynote speakers, industry insights and procurement trends
The Indigenous Business Tradeshow – showcasing Indigenous suppliers to corporate and government buyers
Targeted networking opportunities and relationship-building events
Direct engagement with procurement decision-makers
This initiative is designed to support Victorian First Nations businesses to build capability, increase visibility and pursue new market opportunities.
Participation Schedule
Successful applicants will be required to participate in the following activities:
Business Capability Workshops – Delivered at the Kinaway office (Melbourne) prior to travel. (Date TBC)
Workshops will focus on capability statements, pitching, procurement readiness and networking strategy.
Supply Nation Connect 2026 – Knowledge Forum – Perth
Kinaway Networking Event – Perth (evening function during Connect)
Supply Nation Connect 2026 – Indigenous Business Tradeshow – Perth
Attendance at all scheduled activities is a requirement of sponsorship.
Travel & Eligibility Information
Kinaway will support a limited number of Victorian First Nations businesses to attend.
Delegate Contribution: A non-refundable contribution of $250 per person will be required from successful applicants. This will be allocated toward flight bookings.
Inclusions:
Return flights (Melbourne to Perth)
Accommodation (up to three nights)
Eligibility Criteria:
Must be a Victorian-based First Nations business
Only one EOI per business will be assessed
Only one business representative per successful EOI will be supported
Additional representatives may attend at their own expense
Limited sponsored places available
Businesses wishing to exhibit at the Indigenous Tradeshow must be Supply Nation Registered or Certified
Assessment Criteria
EOIs will be assessed by Kinaway (and relevant government partners where applicable) based on:
Business readiness and growth strategy
Capacity to engage in procurement opportunities
Commitment to participate in all scheduled activities
Supply Nation registration or certification status (required for exhibitors)
Successful applicants will be notified following the assessment process.
