Kinaway invites all members of our community including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses, Corporate Partners, allies, government representatives, and community organisations, to join this important and engaging workshop hosted by Lawerence Moser!

Morning tea will be provided by PAWA CATERING, and coffee will be available in the office upon arrival.

  1. Understanding Racism: Anti-Racist Behaviour and Practices (relating to the workplace and community)

  2. Understanding Racism: Types of racism in the workplace & community, the impact of racism, addressing and reporting racism

  3. Capability Building: Communication Strategies & Unconscious Bias Awareness

  4. Capability Building: Cultural Competency & Cultural Safety (working effectively with diverse groups and communities).

About Lawrence

Lawrence is a proud Taungurung descendant born on Wamba Wamba country Swan Hill. Lawrence is a qualified Teacher and has undertaken a number of roles across Victorian State government from education, employment, justice, community capacity building, corrections Victoria, land management, Rail Projects Victoria and Victoria Legal Aid.
