Kinaway invites all members of our community including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses, Corporate Partners, allies, government representatives, and community organisations, to join this important and engaging workshop hosted by Lee Couch!

This session provides an in-depth exploration of racism in the Australian context, examining its historical roots and how it manifests across systemic, institutional, and individual levels. Particular attention is given to the ongoing impacts of racism on First Peoples.

Morning tea will be provided by PAWA CATERING, and coffee will be available in the office upon arrival.

About Lee Couch

Lee is a proud Gamilaroi woman from northern New South Wales, with Chinese heritage on her maternal side and the influences of Western culture through her paternal lineage. She comes from a strong bloodline of Aboriginal women and pays respect to her ancestors by acknowledging the generations of people who have paved the way for her.
